About the event

Please join the Maine Lawyers Chapter for dinner and discussion with author, historian, and entrepreneur Logan Beirne, whose book Blood of Tyrants: George Washington and the Forging of the Presidency, won the Colby Award for best military history. Mr. Beirne is a direct descendant of James Madison and will offer unique insight into founding-era history and the impact of that history on today's America. There will be ample time to network with fellow attendees and engage in discussion with Mr. Beirne. All are welcome, including lawyers, non-lawyers, students, and interested citizens!

Non Members: $80
