About the event
Please join the Maine Lawyers Chapter for a happy hour and discussion with attorney Robert Alt of the Buckeye Institute. Mr. Alt is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, clerked for Judge Alice Batchelder of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and is a legal scholar specializing in criminal justice, national security, and constitutional law. Apart from his legal career, Mr. Alt is attempting to summit the highest peak on each of the seven continents. Thus far he has summited "four and three-quarters" of the seven! Join us to learn from his experience leading the Buckeye Institute and ascending the world's tallest peaks. This is the Chapter's second meeting in Bangor; there will be ample time to meet and mingle with fellow attendees before and after Mr. Alt's discussion.
